- Sun M 45 belongs to the dithiocarbamate group of fungicides.
- Sun M 45 is recommended on several crops against a wide variety of disease complexes.
- Sun M 45 reacts with sulfhydryl groups of amino acids and enzymes within fungal cells, resulting in disruption of lipid metabolism, respiration, and production of adenosine triphosphate. Due to its multi-site action, fungi are unable to develop resistance against it, even with continuous and regular use.
- Sun M 45 is a pure contact fungicide effective before fungal penetration inside the leaf; hence, the application should be carefully timed when maximum spores are falling on leaves under favorable weather conditions.
- Sun M 45 is used as foliar sprays, seed treatment, and nursery drenching in various crops.
